Terms & Conditions

1. What I Do

I provide diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and replacement of faulty parts within shower systems. I do not carry out full bathroom installations or major plumbing works outside the shower system. ShowerFix Pro is an independent repair service, not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by Aqualisa. Brand names are used only to describe the products I work on.

2. Quotes & Pricing

  • All prices are given in good faith based on the information you provide.

  • If I find additional faults on site, I will explain the issue and any extra cost before continuing.

  • Prices may change if parts are discontinued or suppliers adjust their pricing.

3. Diagnostics

A diagnostic fee, as described in my shower servicing information, will apply. This covers my time to attend, inspect, and diagnose the issue — even if you choose not to proceed with the repair.

4. Parts & Special Orders

  • I only use quality, reputable parts.

  • Special‑order or non‑returnable parts may require a deposit before I order them.

  • If you supply your own parts, I cannot guarantee them and I am not responsible if they fail.

5. Non‑Manufacturer Parts

I sometimes use parts that are not made by Aqualisa, where I'm confident they're reliable and compatible with your shower.

These parts are covered by my 30-day guarantee, unless they already carry a manufacturer's warranty.

If you'd rather I only use genuine Aqualisa parts, tell me before the work starts. I'll quote for that instead, and it may cost more or take longer if parts need ordering in.

6. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise.

  • I accept bank transfer or card payment.

  • Invoices must be paid within the timeframe stated on the invoice.

7. Cancellations & Missed Appointments

  • You can cancel or reschedule with reasonable notice at no cost.

  • If you cancel late or are not home when I arrive, the diagnostic fee may still apply to cover my time and travel.

8. Access & Safety

  • You must ensure safe access to the work area.

  • Water and electricity isolation must be available.

  • Someone aged 18 or over must be present during the visit.

9. Guarantees (30‑Day Workmanship & Parts Guarantee)

I provide a 30‑day guarantee on both my workmanship and the parts I supply and fit, including recycled, refurbished, and non‑manufacturer parts — unless the part already comes with a manufacturer warranty.

If a problem occurs within 30 days because of:

  • the way I carried out the repair, or

  • a part I supplied and fitted that does not have a manufacturer warranty

I will return and put it right at no extra cost.

This guarantee does not cover:

  • Parts that already have a manufacturer warranty (the manufacturer’s terms apply)

  • Customer‑supplied parts

  • Hidden faults or pre‑existing issues

  • Problems caused by previous installation work

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Issues caused by changes to your plumbing system after my visit

  • Issues caused by interference from electrical or other systems

10. Changes to Your Plumbing System After My Visit

I cannot be held responsible for any issues that arise after my work due to changes made to your plumbing system. Examples include:

  • Switching from gravity‑fed to high‑pressure or unvented systems

  • Alterations to pipework, pumps, valves, or water pressure

  • Installation of new heating or hot‑water systems

  • Any modification affecting water flow, pressure, or compatibility with the repaired shower

11. Interference From Electrical or Other Systems

I am not responsible for faults, failures, or damage caused by other systems in your property that interact with the shower, including:

  • Electrical supply problems (EMI/RFI)

  • Faulty wiring, earthing, or circuit protection

  • Power surges or voltage fluctuations

  • Smart‑home devices, timers, or switches affecting power

  • Issues caused by boilers, pumps, or heating controls

  • Any third‑party system that interferes with shower operation

12. Limits of Liability

I am not responsible for:

  • Pre‑existing faults or damage

  • Hidden issues not reasonably visible during inspection

  • Damage caused by poor installation or previous work by others

  • Indirect or consequential losses (e.g., water damage, lost income)

  • Issues caused by changes to your plumbing system after my visit

  • Issues caused by interference from electrical or other systems

I always work carefully and professionally to avoid any issues.

13. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the fault

  • Clear the work area before I arrive

  • Notify me of leaks, electrical issues, or safety concerns

  • Follow any aftercare advice I give

14. Complaints

If you’re unhappy with any part of the service, please email showerfixpro@gmail.com
I aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe and resolve issues fairly.

15. Privacy & Data

I only collect the information needed to arrange and complete your job. Your data is handled in line with my Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to These Terms & Conditions

I may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version on my website at the time of booking applies.

Digital Systems Disclaimer

I take every care when working on digital systems. However, older digital cables can occasionally fail once they are touched or moved, even if they appeared fine beforehand. If that happens and the cable can be replaced, I will do so, but some original installations were poorly routed or fixed in place, meaning other trades may be required.

This situation is very rare, but it cannot be covered under my standard service.
